This session will provide background information on artificial intelligence and how it might be used in health care. Specific examples of how AI approaches might help in the management of patients with rheumatoid arthritis will be presented. There will be a discussion of the challenges of using AI approaches in health care.
Learning Objectives:
Understand the differences in meanings of the terms artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning.
Articulate some of the misconceptions and challenges in using AI approaches to manage patients with RA.
Identify the AI strategies that have been applied to diagnose RA or predict future flares.
