Sobia Hassan is a graduate of the University of Nottingham UK and completed medical residency training in both the UK and St Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital NY, NY. She completed her rheumatology fellowship at MetroHealth Hospital, Case Western Reserve University. She currently works as an academic rheumatologist at RUSH University, Chicago. She has a special interest in musculoskeletal ultrasonography and is the Director of the Rheumatology Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Program at Rush.
She successfully completed the USSONAR/American College of Rheumatologist’s (ACR) Train-the-Trainer program in 2012 and passed the ACR’s Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Certification in Rheumatology in 2015.
