In this session we will discuss the recommendations of the 2022 ACR Guideline for Vaccinations in Patients with Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Diseases (RMD), and touch on some principles of vaccination in pregnant patients with RMD.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand special indications for vaccination in patients on immunosuppressive medications
  • Know how to time vaccinations in reference to glucocorticoids and DMARDs
  • Recognize special considerations for vaccinating pregnant women on immunosuppressive medications
